Hi, I'm Emma, the founder of Beverley Bites. Come and explore the heart of historic Beverley with me on one of my guided walking and tasting tours.
We’ll stroll through charming medieval streets, uncover the stories behind the iconic Minster and bustling markets, and take in the town’s elegant Georgian revival.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy plenty of delicious local food and drink. It’s the perfect way to experience Beverley’s rich history - one bite at a time.

🍁 Autumn & Winter Tours Available for Groups ⛄️
While my regular scheduled tours take a seasonal break during the autumn and winter,
Beverley Bites is still very much open.
If you have a group of 5 or more people, I'd be delighted to arrange either the Full Feast
Tour or the Afternoon Tea Experience on an ad hoc basis, subject to availability.
Whether you're planning a celebration, reunion, club outing, corporate event or simply a
great day out with friends, just email me with your preferred date and group size, and I'll see
what I can arrange.
I'd love to welcome you to Beverley for a delicious day of food, history and hidden stories.
Taste the town
Both walking tours offer the perfect way to discover Beverley through its flavours, people, and places, whether you’re a visitor or a local.
Afternoon Tea
This relaxed Friday walking tour blends Beverley’s rich history with a quirky take on the traditional afternoon tea. As part of this 3 hour experience, you’ll pause at a welcoming café and a traditional pub, while also visiting local shops to collect treats for your goody bag. Step by step, you’ll build your own afternoon tea - from sandwiches and sausage rolls to chocolate, cake and of course, plenty of tea (with the option to finish with prosecco), making this a perfect outing for friends, family or a solo treat.

The Full Feast
The original Beverley Bites experience is a Saturday 4.5 hour guided walking and tasting tour that brings together the town’s fascinating history and its thriving food scene.
As you explore Beverley’s medieval streets, hidden alleyways, and the bustling Saturday Market, you’ll enjoy food and drink from 9 carefully chosen local cafes, stalls, pubs and independent shops. At each, you’ll enjoy something delicious - from savoury bites to sweet treats - while hearing stories that bring the town’s past and present to life.

Supporting local
As part of my tours, I want to showcase and support our local, independent food and drink scene here in Beverley. And there are so many places I could include. But as we don't have all day, nor do we have stomachs big enough, I've had to curate the places you visit to ensure you get a variety of food and drink along the route. Your ticket price helps to cover the cost of everything you eat and drink.

Meet your guide
Hi, I’m Emma, a proud resident of Beverley with a deep passion for its rich and fascinating history.
My journey into Beverley’s past truly began when I became a roof guide at our stunning medieval Minster - a role I still have today. This awe-inspiring building, dominating the town’s skyline for centuries, ignited my curiosity and encouraged me to discover even more about the town’s remarkable heritage.
History is woven into the very fabric of Beverley; it’s impossible to ignore. It shapes our modern street patterns, reveals itself inside shops and historic buildings, lingers in the market squares, and even speaks through the names of our streets.
Living here means walking through layers of history every day, and I love discovering and sharing the stories that make Beverley so unique.

Looking for something a little more tailored?
If you'd prefer just a slice of Beverley’s food and history rather than the Full Feast or the Afternoon Tea experience, I can design a bespoke tour just for your group. Whether you're after a shorter walk, a focus on specific tastes (cakes and cocktails? cheese and beer?), or even a history-only experience with no food stops - just let me know your preferences and I’ll create something that suits you perfectly.
Drop me a message and we’ll plan your perfect outing.
